[VIDEO] Tulsa King

thought I had posted this before but search didn't find it.

Anyway, not since 1883 have I enjoyed a pilot so much, very dark sense of humour, cracking writing and Stallone absolutely shines in a role that was made for him, add the rollocking fast pace and I honestly wish I could binge the whole series, really looking forward to the second episode

I will wait for your review of a few episodes, but it does look intriguing. :)

Looks like it hangs heavily on whether you like Stallone.
Another Gangster movie with a different lead.
I think I'll join RJS and wait till you're a few eps in.

Ok so up to episode 6 and thoroughly enjoying it, just when you think you have it sussed and it brings in another thread, now I adore mob movies and this is not and doesn't pretend to be goodfellas real life but what it does thanks to the writing of Taylor Sheridan who also writes 1923 and 1883 with Yellowstone is gives a breakneck speed (sometimes too fast)  Mob drama that switches from light hearted and fun to incredibly violent scenes in the blink of an eye, The family dynamics are fascinating whether its the mob family, the family he creates in Tulsa or his own, bring an exciting and tense dynamic and Stallone handles them all with a consummate ease, if you are a mob fan, a Stallone fan or a fan of Sheridans writing definitely check it out

should probably have posted this earlier, finished the 1st season, 9 episode long and I found it very enjoyable indeed, my only problem was the ending, they mentioned half way through the season it had been renewed and it definitely affected the ending, both of them :(, the I assume original ending would have suited me fine, finished the major storyline with a bang which was a great ending, then it looks like they tacked on 10 minutes to set up the second season which appeared rushed and clumsy.
