Blakes 7 coming to Blu-Ray

News: BLAKE'S 7 SERIES 1 ON BLU-RAY! - blakes7online

My all time favourite show, however really Blu-ray, now that everyone streams and downloads?

I really hope they don't ruin the shaky sets, and animatronics with too much CGI

Some things should just be left as they are.

I think they're going to do a Star Trek and offer seamless branching for original and new FX.

What I find concerning is that they're doing individual season sets, and not offering the whole kit and caboodle in one big boxset. I wouldn't want to spend the best part of £200 for the lot.

Or even worse, buy the first season and sales are so poor they don't make the rest. :/

What was great about this si-fi series was not the rubbish cardboard sets nor the poor models of spaceships moving on strings, but the characters themselves. Most of them were very memorable.

For its time a lot of interesting concepts were put into the stories, like controlling the big madman with a brain chip which seemed to fail in each episode when he went on a rampage LOL. Also the baddie army were hooked on a drug, where to live they had to serve or die of drug withdrawal.

Mutoids - of which Glynis BARBER was one, as well as playing Soolin later in the series

and don't forget like that cheap American 'Trekkie' programme, it predicted the future...

Siri/Alexa... I give you Orac!
