This is one of four short films based on Roald Dahl's short stories. The others are The Swan, The Ratcatcher and Poison, all 16 mins long.

This one is 39 mins.

I wasn't too keen on The French Dispatch or Asteroid City but this looks promising.

it was ok, the missus described it as someone trying too hard to do Wes Anderson, which it sort of was, bit too much style of content, everyone in it did their parts well, but it was just a bit meh :(

I said to her it felt a bit like going to an art gallery, all looked v nice

I haven't seen his last few films, but loved Tennenbaums, Fantastic Mr Fox ,Life Aquatic, Rushmoore, Darjeelling Ltd and bottle rocket.

I can see how they're not for every one though.
