Keep a Kleenex handy for any Mrs Hudson scenes as Una only died recently.
Let's just say they made a bit more of her in later episodes.

I've stopped watching that half way through.
Because it looks as though I'll like it and it's one of those 'The whole movie in three minutes' trailers.

RE: The 100 greatest TV series of the 21st Century

You've not included one of the two I've seen through which I'd thoroughly recommend. Sherlock.
You did however include one you couldn't pay me to watch. The Office.
Gervais makes my skin crawl, can't stand him, either in or out of character.

Some I do intend catching up with eventually, I wont list them as which ones they are changes with my mood and it's a case of watching an episode or two and getting hooked or not.

RE: The 100 greatest TV series of the 21st Century

Tells me how little I watch TV.

Precisely two that I've watched right through and a handful I watched say one series of, another handful I've seen the odd episode.

Some you couldn't pay me to watch and a whole lot of WTF, never heard of them.

I'd say all those usual suspects will actually be delighted to be doing this under the cloak of peaceful co operation.
With the possible exception of India or is there something my admittedly sketchy knowledge of that area has missed.

I've been listening to discussions on 5Live on the way home about the list of managers supposedly being considered including the likes of Eddie Howe and Roberto Martinez.
They are going to have to overpay, not that that's a problem now, for whoever comes in as it's an almost guaranteed rest of the season deal to try and stay up.
I'm frankly surprised I haven't hear Allardyce mentioned yet.

Let's just open the popcorn and watch the drama unfold until in a few years they might be out Citying City. Or alternately doing an Everton and spending loads to stand still.

Interesting that the club put out a statement earlier on asking fans not to wear Saudi style clothing and headwear unless it was relevant to their culture or religion.

RE: Arsenal 21/22 season

Did that to ourselves and we're lucky to get the draw.
Fantastic start put somebody put a needle in the balloon when we scored the first goal.
All drive disappeared and we let them get on top and stay there, even  when the second half kicked off. Whatever Arteta said either they didn't listen or it just didn't work.
We only got some desire back when Lacazette came on and all credit to him for being the one there with the equalizer.

Whatever the result ended up McArthur should have been off with a straight red.
Ball nowhere near him and looking straight at Saka's leg.

Villa must be terrified.

Only really use it for family but it is very handy for sending pics say to a builder with a ' can you fix this' or 'this is the wall/door etc we were discussing'.

Legal car problem

I'll make this as brief as possible.
Near enough 3 months ago my son bought a car, his first.
Very nice S/H Audi A4 from an Audi main dealer who searched their database for what he wanted and found one in a dealership in Wolverhampton.
Bought up, test drove, nice car. Found a load of service history in the glove box which listed a notification for a timing belt and an oil leak.
'Oh we'd have done that anyway (doubt it). Said okay if that was done and the pre delivery service.
Picked up car on a Friday, next morning small pool of something under car so thought, not done the oil leak properly ring them Monday.
Following day he gets in the car to go to work and just about manages to get it back on the drive after discovering 'No brakes'.

Audi breakdown, included with the deal, called.
Guy says you might want to keep this, small spanner.
The mechanic had left a spanner on , I'm guessing the bleed nut, so that every time you turned the steering it was loosening the nut, so the puddle was brake fluid.
This could have happened when he was just down the road on the ring road or 3/4 mile later on the M62 with possibly fatal results.
Car went back in for a recheck a week or two later.

Lots of phone calls with we'll ring you back, they never did.
Eventually contacted head office of Audi who took it up.
The dealers will ring you and we'll ring you back in 7 days to see if it's sorted.
I should say the sorted we're after is some kind of compensation for putting his and other road users life at risk.
Dealer rang on the 7th day shortly before Audi rang and offered 2 free services. He's got two free services already with the deal.
To and fro a bit with them asking what he wants. No idea about this sort of thing so didn't know.
Eventually head office came back with how about £500.

I'd like anyone's opinion.
Maybe if they'd offered that with a really sorry at the beginning but they've never rung back at any stage except under duress and even when the car went back in it was returned covered in bird s***.

So it's either £500 and write it off to experience.
Sod off you can do better than that and see what they say
Or one of the no win no fee ambulance chasing law firms

Not a massive fan of Chapelle anyway whether he's being ultra controversial or not.
I've seen various comings and goings about it on a couple of news feeds but as the controversy seems to revolve around the whole gender/trans/terf (BTW I still have no idea what terf stands for) debate I really can't be ars*d watching it.

I stopped following Graham Linehan on Twitter several years ago as his whole feed ended up as a constant row between him and seemingly everyone else on this subject and I had no idea who or what he was arguing for and still don't.

I'm staying well away from it as there's more than enough in the world to be pi**ed off at without adding something else.

RE: Arsenal 21/22 season

4.0
Lovely result and we didn't really play that well till the third went in.
Nice for Heath to get her first goal as I didn't really think she was on her game.
Could have been a bit of a come back if not for Zinsberger who pulled of some really good saves.
Not sure who got player of the match but Kim Little had the match by it's short and curlies.

Arsene Wenger. Invincible coming out soon

Given how hard I found it to get into Wandavision I'm wondering if I'm being conditioned into having a shorter attention span than ten or fifteen years ago before a social media world of two and three minute clips.

Is anyone else finding this or now that shows can go on forever and episode lengths are flexible on streaming services are they taking longer to tell their stories and not editing as tightly as they used to.

So it's now up for free with the Disney membership and I caught up with it last night.
Maybe 6.5 out of 10
Good with all the usual smash crash.
Some decent smart mouth dialogue but I don't think the sisters sparked off each other anywhere near the usual Marvel standard.

Definitely a full point deduction for Winstonovitch with the Bethnal Greeonograd accent.
There had to be somebody better than that. I kept waiting for him to tell me the odds of Romanov winning.

Looks like there's something being planned for the Widows the way they left it.
Probably not with Johanson though even though it looks like they've kissed and made up.

Everton really trying to press hard at the beginning but it didn't work properly and they couldn't keep it up.

The latest HIGNFY had a tweet displayed from someone commenting that Saudi are putting more money into Newcastle than they did into 9/11.

Don't be put off by the fact this is a link to an Arsenal blog as the whole article is on the general situation and how Newcastle relates to it.

RE: Arsenal 21/22 season

Bloody annoying match.
Yes Barca are a fantastic side but we didn't start playing until about 65 mins in. Pretty well a given that they would have loads of possession and we'd have to hit them on the break but far too hesitant and nervous when we got the ball.
Ref not up to much and way to fussy. Same number of fouls from each side but we get six yellows to Barca's one, including one for the manager who it's fair to say was not amused at some of the decisions.

I hope we give it a bit more of a go on the return leg.
