Pareidolia...
Mind you, there is a Mount in America where many claim to be able to see the faces of ex Presidents and in fairness, from a certain angle it really does look like it too!

RE: [VIDEO] Coronavirus, anyone starting to get worried?

Had my first ever flu jab last Sat.
Didn't feel it at the time and felt fine since.

RE: Arsenal 21/22 season

The first half was pretty even to be fair.
There was a bit of handbags after an Arsenal bench reaction to a Mané leap that wasn't a foul - but one side (and the home crowd) massively responded to that, raised their game and totally dominated the second half - with finishing as clinical as you get.
I was quite nervous about the game beforehand.  Considering the start Arsenal had to the season, a win would have moved them ahead of Liverpool in the table.

RE: [VIDEO] Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Thought this was really great!
The fight scenes and choreography were superb, often balletic.
Such a surreal scene with (scouse.. hmm..) Ben Kingsley and the Planet of the Apes discussion had me crying with laughter, he was superb.

Your review seems Americanised just for him - asshat and, erm, douchenozzle
I could only imagine you more hurt if he'd criticised 'Jo'.

Just got tickets to 'An Evening Inside No. 9 With Steve Pemberton & Reece Shearsmith' - only a few weeks away too.

Regarding the botched executions thing, it does amuse me a little (wrong word but you know what I mean...) that they clean the needle/skin beforehand too.

RE: Liverpool explosion

I've seen the CCTV footage.
The cab pulls in quickly and slows down but is still just about moving when the bomb goes off.  About 5 secs later the door opens and the driver scrambles out.

Good start - the Eddie Kidd tribute is brilliant and emotional.
There may be dust in the room when you watch.

RE: Liverpool explosion

All the info seems to be coming from cabbies so you probably know more than many snaps.
If this had been in London I imagine we'd have had live feeds for most of the day.
My understanding is the cabby, David, saw his suicide belt and locked him in and he detonated.  Cabby lost his ear and has burns and shrapnel injuries but somehow survived and is a living hero and without doubt has save many, many lives today - most of which would have been women and babies.

RE: [VIDEO] The Outlaws

We're watching it and it's OK, not loving it as much as you mbilko..
It veers dangerously close to (or passes maybe...) farce/caper at times but there's certainly something about the characters that is endearing.
Walken, though, it fantastic in it - totally steals every scene he is in.

RE: [VIDEO] So... what are you playing just now?

The week before last was Ori and the Will of the Wisps.  Great.
Last week Metroid Dread.  Absolutely brilliant.  Rather hard too.
Finished it twice, it's so good.

RE: [VIDEO] Ted Lasso

Yeah, I think I read the original season was supposed to be 10 episodes but was then made 12 (due to success of S1 I assume) - so they wrote two pretty much standalone episodes that didn't really 'add' much to the story and could almost be inserted anywhere.
It was the coach Beard episode and the Christmas one.

Yeah, you have four story arcs evolving.

RE: Legal car problem

For me you got typical customer service like most places now sadly.
On the spanner thing, yeah, someone made a mistake and there's hopefully something in place to stop it happening again (but doubtful).
Don't go involving solicitors (free or otherwise), just learn from it and move on - life's too short.  The minimum there is someone probably getting sacked too probably.

It was weird being on in August but a great 'standalone' episode.

RE: Fury V Wilder III WOW!! MAJOR SPOILER

It was a great fight, no idea how Wilder was still on his feet for the last few rounds.
Incredibly, one judge had it level after 9 - Fury was way, way ahead then.
Fury v Usyk could be good but AJ has a rematch there.

RE: Most morally bankrupt takeover since the Glazers?

I'd probably change the title too.
I'm not sure it's comparable and is hardly recent.
As far as the takeover being allowed though, I'd stick it in with Snaps's superb avalanche and snowball analogy.
Move along, nothing to see here...
Unless you take the time to actually look.

RE: [VIDEO] What gig did you just go to?

And 'COVID with a band member' has cancelled tonight's Glasgow and the 3 London O2 gigs.
I wouldn't judge my post as a general review of the gig, they have been well reviewed by the media.

Yes, and even then he wasn't exactly his old self.

As a longstanding Genesis fan (all eras) I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority in a typical Genesis audience now.
