Legends of the fall is a family & love story, which is a compination that I usually don`t like, but this time my expectations were wrong and I really liked this movie.
The cast includes Brad Pitt, Aidan Quinn, Anthony Hopkins (who acted so well that I would have gave him oscar) and many good actors. The story of three brothers is very strong and when the movie goes further it comes better and better, specially Tristan`s story. The transfer is good, but once again no perfect, but still good enough to get 8 of 10, including audio.Features are quite good, some making of docs, plus bios, filmographies and nice commentary by director and Pitt.
I would recommend this movie to all who hate love stories, because these kind of movies aren`t allways what they might seem.Maybe one of the best movies of ` 94.

    Legends Of The Fall

Travel with passion to the darkest and most beautiful secrets, to love, cheat and blood leads to this great & romantic film, which is directed by Edward Zwick. It has been my favorite movie since I was young grown-up. I saw this movie with my classmates when I was in grammarschool few years ago:
it was boring schoolday and we were in class waching this legendary film which touched us all(althought the boys did´t like that film because of young & handsome actor Brad Pitt ).

The music in this movie is so beautiful that it reminds me about my dreams of Ireland.
It´s composed by famous and excellent James Horner.

The actors are so wonderful that you can´t describe it. Sir Anthony Hopkins plays as good as always
(maybe even better), Brad Pitt is so romantic and restless that it makes you crazy and wild at the same time...sometimes even cry, Henry Thomas acts sweet and shy littlebrother (he was perfect in the classic movie E.T.), Aidan Quinn loving and caring big brother and Julia Ormond plays pretty woman, who makes that movie very sensitive and romantic (because the boys fell in love with her)!

I bought this because I love this film and it has a great sound, Dolby digital 5.1, 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, nice and beautiful features and great sharpness + colors are perfect.

I just like to say that if you like drama & romance/action ,you will love this film :) !!!

An epic romantic/drama film, and a very good one at that.
A good cast with some great acting, breathtaking scenery,
a great music score, and a good length, to fully justify the movie. Good to see `Eliott` from E.T. back in a major film, but
i have not seen much of him since this! Hopkins as ever is
at his brilliant best, and Mr Pitt, who will please many women
with is `wild boy` character and flowing locks, continues to impress. The visual quality on DVD is good, with some of the
landscapes, and backdrops looking awesome, you also get a good feel of the vastness of the area where the family live. The audio is also good, nothing spectacular, but it hits the spot, with some effective music. Extras are good too, and it would have been criminal to have none (as in the the normal release)Behind the scenes, deleted scenes, and a few commentaries, as well as the usual trailers, filmographies etc. Overall a beautifully shot film, with a good cast and good acting allround, a film worthy of any DVD collection. Look out for the final scenes of the film, a brilliant if not `lunatic` shot of footage, showing Brad`s character `fighting` a bear! utter maddness and well worth a rewind!
